I’ve realized that I’ve been complaining about my assignments lately. I feel that my life has been revolving around assignments nowadays, even since poly started.
Not that I care, but I really do feel that the grades I get are not eqivalent to the efforts I have placed in my assigments. I know life’s not all about results… but hey, it’s really demoralizing.
Perhaps it’s what Rin always said, “Art is not about hardwork, it’s about talent.”
I know that I have zero talent, but I am willing to try. Maybe at the end, I’ll go for an office job and give up on this dream -to become a games designer.
However, I don’t want to have any regrets.
Not now, at least, for I am just at the beginning of my journey.
Assignments deadline:
DESFD – Lines & Texture (Fri)
CODID – Presentation (Fri) + Analysis Report (Next Fri)
VASTR – Final. (Next Tues)
DRAW1- TBA.
COLOR THEORY – TBA.
Doesn’t seem to be much… but in fact, it’s quite a lot of work.

In a lifetime, there are bound to have things which one will never forget. For me, that is today, the 19th of April, 2008. No, it’s not some cheesy stuff like, “Yay! My first stead, my first love, etc…”, but, it’s for me to remember this person called “Rin”.
Rin was not her real name actually, “Rin” is just like my “Qiqi”, and Qiqi is not my real name too. Rin, this name, came to me due to my laziness, her two-syllabus name made it a chore for me to call her, hence, the name Rin was given to her.
She was someone I met in the virtual game called “OZ”, and we decided to meet out since we were very good friends online, and also due to the fact that we stayed near each other, with only few MRT stops away.
First time I met her, she was a funny girl. We pushed around in the library just simply because she doesn’t like to take photos. That also explains that we hadn’t taken a photo together before, despite she being pretty and nice. (Also, the reason why my blog doesn’t have her picture.)
However, she today really secured me with a simple gesture… “I would never want to lose this friend of mine, no matter what…” she made me think like that. She was the first one who retorted back to something that hurts me. The first friend who did so.
I’ll keep all the stuff I said about things that divide us. Let me just make one point clear, our friendship is definitely very stable.
Also, I really… really appreciate that.

Most people may think the blog post’s title is funny, but no, it isn’t funny at all. Before we come into Today, let’s talk a little about yesterday. (Since I posted some pictures up.)
I could not blog yesterday due to the fact that I realized that I have DID wrongly for some of my Color Theory assignment… So I re-did it after I have reached home, which was about 2100h, since I went for work. Yar, but hey, Dada (Rida/Florida), gave me a pau (bread) today! It was nice, filled with love and such, no- not really, but it was nice since the appearance is definitely very appealing.

Anyway, I had DESFD (Design Fundamental) Tutorial today and CODID (Concept Development Ideas) today. CODID was okay, just that we have to design “designs” with triangles, circles and squares, and some random barcode. :X
DESFD was the headach-ing one. We had to learn different shading techniques, which includes dotting, lining, cross hatching, wavy and freestyle. The dotting one had me look @_@ after class. I was feeling so giddy.
After classes, I went to Woodlands to find Riniepoo, and to watch her Secondary School Concert. However, we slacked off in the canteen when the concert started. (Too stuffy!)
Assignments to Finish:
CODID – Shapes and Designs (50% done. -Finish by this Sat!-)
DESFD – Lines and Techniques (2% done? Due next Fri. -Finish by this Sat!-)
DRAWING1 – LINES & TONES (Monday due. 40% done. -Ah, don’t drag this! Finish up!-)
Due to the fact that I’ve attended a lecture that tells us to take down interesting everyday-things and place it down on a scrap book for sources of inspirations… Yes, I’m going to do that. XD

Anyway, I’ve chiong-ed (rush-ed) with quality for my art assignments for Color Theory. Yes, the color theory which is due this friday. I finished it at Thursday 5AM! I am such a super girl.

I’ve shot down my fruits of labour… I know it’s not nice, I’m not good at cut and paste/painting, but at least, I placed in effort and tried.
I also finished the “VIEWFINDER”, I think my measurements were slightly off, but I think it’s okay.
By the way, I stumbled upon this site… STOPVIRGIN. Don’t start thinking off the track on the word Virgin, haha, did I caught you doing it?
That Virgin meant Virgin Media, which is a Host Provider. The reason to stop the provider, in layman terms, is due to the fact that VM is suggesting that people that pays for a host will get BETTER Internet speed compared to people who didn’t paid for the host. (It’s similar to having “PREMIUM” accounts on fileshoster, but this is not a filehoster, mind you, this is an Internet Service Prover [ISP].)
This caused alot people to be angered, including me, yes I’m fed up. What if our ISP do this too? Won’t we have a riot?
Yeah… I am quite righteous… >_>

Yeah, I shifted my blog to wordpress… For no reason too. (Not really no reason, but I like my blog to be clean and nice. )
Today my timetable was like all hell gone loose.
Don’t know what’s wrong with the setter. >_> I had a 4hour break… We slacked at the PC Lab, then at the canteen, then in the library. I found out that Michelle was an aspiring Mangaka. XD It was my childhood dream, but meh, wait till I polish up my skills first, now I am more interested in animation
Then that lecture… GRR. I had an tummyache at the start of a 2 hour lecture… (Must be the goddamned apple juice.) then I tahan-ed (endured) for the whole 2 hour. I rushed out immediately after lecture to relief myself. >_>
Went home. Mummy cooked dinner. (WOW! Miracle… She cooks! O_O)
After that, received a call from Evelyn, my colleague at the Tuition Centre I’m working in. I told Chris, my boss, that I couldn’t make it to class tomorrow and she was angry and pissed and told Evelyn. Then Evelyn told me not to go through Chris for such matter, just plan it and don’t let her know. Now I learned my lesson… Phew.
I don’t know, I called my tui-tees to change the plans, and to fix it, so that I wouldn’t be running around like a crazy monkey on the loose.
I don’t feel good, I got this feeling from the bottom of my throat that I couldn’t cope with school and work anymore… I am feeling that I have a lot of things to do, with so little time.
I am going to Rin’s house tomorrow to kope (snatch) her magazines to go my collage assignment for Color Theory. (Bloody MOOD pieces of work, it makes me MOODY.)

Alrighty, lemme start with the long history of TEH Orientation Day 1.
Well, I can’t remember most of the things…
I just remember I was drinking Chrysanthemum Tea in the Coffee Shop near
the Theatre of the Arts in the early morning.
OH! I remember, I saw Wen Jun and Yiling. XDD
Too bad Wen Jun’s not in the same class as me. >_>

Played stupid games, toured the school… saw the swimming pool.
Anyway, I came back and SLEEP SLEEP SLEEP.

I know, I hadn’t been posting for a long time. I am doing my reflection… um, really, I swear! (._.)
Okay, I need some time to organize what happened to me today -not that anything have happened, but well, some clearing up is needed for my jumbled MS-DOS brain.
I hadn’t been sleeping well recently, I did not sleep for 20+hrs at the most, and I went groggily to work the day before. So, I was roused awake by the great JasMonster and thank god I never scolded her… (I don’t like people to wake me up, morning temper…)
Then, around 12plus, I woke up and went to wash up… feeling rather tired. I was watching Teevee when Rin and Weeweepoo came, so I had no choice to on my Xbox 360 for them… >_>
BOOM, don’t know I think 4-5 hours were spent playing DOA4 and Lost Planet. Rin was happily saying she wanna KO-ed Weewee in DOA4. In the end, we were busy unlocking DOA4’s stories.
Then around 6, we decided to went for movie, “The Flood”.
The show was rather… what do you say, boring? I thought it’s another “The Day after Tomorrow” movie, but I was so drastically wrong. Poor me. T_T
Ah, I am going for Orientation at NYP tomorrow… I hope I am not going to mess up. I don’t wanna go! I am so alone! I am bound to have a big, fat ZERO on my friend list. *crawls to one corner and cry*
Nevertheless, I am still going to try. Wish me luck. (:
